When considering your business' energy usage, there are multiple ways to save money, reduce consumption, and tread more lightly on the environment.
The cheapest kilowatt is the one that is never used, and therefore conserving energy and reducing the consumption from your operations is the best first step in energy management.

Environmental Protection Agency ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager
Portfolio Manager is a free online energy management tool that allows you to track and assess energy and water consumption across your entire portfolio of buildings in a secure online environment. Whether you own, manage, or hold properties for investment, Portfolio Manager can help you set investment priorities, identify under-performing buildings, verify efficiency improvements, and receive EPA recognition for superior energy performance. The first step to energy management and cost savings is energy measurement through Portfolio Manager.
EPA’s ENERGY STAR partnership offers a proven energy management strategy that helps in measuring current energy performance, setting goals, tracking savings, and rewarding improvements.
EPA provides an innovative energy performance rating system which businesses have already used for more than 200,000 buildings across the country. EPA also recognizes top performing buildings with the ENERGY STAR.
